Corporate Controller

Walton Press Inc, located in Monroe, Georgia, is a Commercial Printing Company offering high quality printing in both heat-set, cold-set, and wide format processes. We are interviewing for an Corporate Controller with experience with Sales & Use Tax related to manufacturing environment. This position also oversees and manages the day to day operations of accounting to include purchasing, payables, receivables, and billing. Candidates must have 5 years of GL, Sales & Use Tax and Asset/Depreciation experience, with a demonstrated ability to make Qualified, Independent Decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance required if less than 5 years of relevant experience. Position is hand’s on in a fast pace environment. Job Description:

● Job requires a minimum of 5 years as a Controller.

● Manage the day to day operations of the Accounting department to include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing and General Ledger.

● Report and maintain the financial position of the company to the owners, president, and outside reporting establishments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

● Create analytical reports as needed using data mining from ERP modules for revenue and cost analysis.

● Manage the cash position of the company to include banking relations, credit policies and procedures, credit lines, reporting and balancing cash daily, and cash flow projections. Approve weekly cash disbursements.

● Treasury management with regards to banks and loan institutions.

● Maintain all contract and leases for the company.

● Maintain adequate reserves for cash, inventory, and accounts receivable.

● Produce annual budgets for the company and individual budget centers. Upload and maintain EFI budget file.

● Update all cost into EFI material and labor cost centers, and provide estimating and sales with annual machine and labor rates by function.

● File all tax returns for the company on a monthly and annual basis to include sales and use, personal property, and corporate taxes.

● Provide the auditor with all necessary documents and schedules to prepare the annual audit and to file the annual tax returns.

● Responsible for the annual review of corporate business, workers compensation, and other insurances and assist in the final decision of insurance carriers.

● Set policy and procedures that allow for corporate compliance with federal, state, and local governments.

Education:

● Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business Administration.

Skill Requirements:

● Advance excel skills to include pivot tables and v look ups.

● Data mining using downloads from ERP system modules converted to excel spreadsheets.

● ERP system modules to include General Ledger, Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Shipping and Table Maintenance.

● Mapping of financial statements and budgets.

● Uploads and downloads of budget and financial information into and from an ERP system.

● Internet treasury and banking management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
